Job summary

SAIC is seeking an Appian Developer in a senior information engineering role to design and build enterprise AI-enabled solutions. You will lead the development of Appian-based applications, prototypes, and integrations with REST APIs and microservices within a broad enterprise architecture.

You will mentor technical staff, guide design patterns, and ensure secure, compliant implementations while translating complex business problems into production-grade capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of demonstrated experience in information systems development, requirements analysis, design, and documentation.
• Intensive experience managing information engineering projects and leading technical teams.
• Hands-on Appian development experience.
• Experience integrating Appian with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Proven leadership and mentorship of technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Apply enterprise-wide disciplines for planning, analysis, design, and construction of information systems.
• Lead information systems development, including requirements analysis, design, programming oversight, and documentation.
• Architect and oversee AI-enabled Appian solutions and reusable components.
• Configure Appian process models, interfaces, data types, and integrations for end-to-end workflows.
• Mentor technical staff and provide guidance on Appian design patterns and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards across projects.
