Job summary

The North Face seeks a Senior Product Developer, Apparel to lead end-to-end development from concept through bulk production. You will translate design intent into 3D and physical samples, manage BOMs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and cost alignment.

With 6+ years in apparel development, you will drive process improvements, mentor junior staff, and travel seasonally to overseas manufacturers to ensure production readiness and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Product Development, Apparel Design, or related field required or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience in Apparel Product Development.
• Familiarity with Patternmaking and grading.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Solid knowledge of development processes, sourcing, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of complex apparel products from concept through bulk production approval.
• Own commercialization strategy for high-risk, high-profile product categories.
• Translate designer intent into 3D and physical prototypes; recommend construction and cost-saving solutions.
• Lead product reviews, teardowns, risk assessments, and readiness activities with cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Costing, vendors, and manufacturers to align on construction and production readiness.
