CVS Health is seeking a Staff Application Security Engineer - Threat Research to secure modern healthcare technology by integrating security into the SDLC, conducting threat research, and building scalable defenses across cloud and enterprise environments.

You will partner with engineering teams, mentor engineers, and lead security automation efforts while addressing vulnerabilities and guiding secure design.

Qualificações

• 7+ years in application security or related roles.
• 5+ years in programming or scripting (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, C/C++, PowerShell, or Shell).
• 3+ years securing public cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• 3+ years with containers (Docker and Kubernetes).
• 3+ years with IaC or Security as Code.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and support application security standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Promote secure coding practices and remediate findings.
• Develop security automation to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis.
• Evaluate risks and provide actionable recommendations to engineering teams.
• Design and support security controls across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge through training and documentation.
• Participate in incident response and operational security activities.
