Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Staff Application Security Engineer based in the United States. You will shape and scale an application security program, integrate AI-powered testing, and collaborate with engineering leaders to embed security into product development.

You will own SAST/DAST/SCA tooling, drive threat modeling, and lead remediation across APIs, SDKs, and cloud systems, while mentoring teams and advancing secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Secure software development lifecycle experience.
• Hands-on implementation of app security programs.
• Proficient in secure coding and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure SDLC with threat modeling.
• Own and improve app security tooling (SAST/DAST, SCA).
• Integrate tools into CI/CD pipelines and reduce false positives.
• Lead AI-first security engineering initiatives and automated remediation.
• Build secure defaults and reusable security patterns.
• Lead threat modeling and architecture reviews across APIs and SDKs.
• Manage vulnerability triage, remediation, and SLAs.
• Conduct hands-on security testing and vulnerability analysis.
• Collaborate with security leadership and cloud teams on incidents.
