Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Application Security Engineer to secure agency applications across their lifecycle and integrate ML/AI into security tools. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance to support high-access programs.

You will help ensure compliance with federal security mandates, support ATO/ATT processes, and maintain robust security monitoring and incident reporting for CSD-managed applications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in system administration, DB admin, network engineering, software engineering, or software development with a concentration in cyber security.
• TS/SCI clearance required due to elevated-access programs.
• Nice to have: CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Security - Specialty.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, tune, and secure application systems; create SOPs.
• Operate and maintain mandated applications and emerging technologies under SOC control; lifecycle management.
• Support ISSOs during ATO/ATT processes; ensure documentation is available.
• Develop, deploy, and integrate ML and AI into security tool suites.
• Conduct weekly security impact assessments and assist with vendor evaluation.
