Job summary

ADP is seeking a Senior Application Security Architect to join its Product Security organization within GSO. You will design and guide secure application architectures with a focus on GenAI and cloud security, partnering with product, engineering, and cloud teams across ADP's ecosystem.

You will influence design decisions, drive secure-by-design principles, and lead threat modeling throughout the SDLC to elevate the organization's security posture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Application Security, Security Architecture, or related roles.
• Deep expertise in application security practices including secure coding, API security, microservices, cloud app security, DevSecOps, and security scanning tools.
• Strong knowledge of GenAI/LLM/Agentic AI security, data governance, and secure integration patterns.
• Cloud security capabilities and controls across AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP.
• Knowledge of OWASP ASVS, SAMM, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls.
• Hands-on experience with Threat Modeling methodologies and tools like IriusRisk, ThreatModeler, Microsoft Threat Modeling Tool.
• IAM concepts: OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, secrets management, key management, zero-trust design.
• CI/CD pipeline security and infrastructure-as-code security.
• Data security, encryption, privacy-by-design, secure logging and monitoring.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and engineering teams to design secure application architectures across multi-country environments.
• Conduct in-depth security architecture reviews and provide actionable requirements and guidance.
• Advise on GenAI, LLM, and AI security, including data protection and risk evaluation.
• Perform security assessments of Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) to enable secure cloud usage.
• Influence leaders to adopt secure-by-design principles and improve security maturity.
• Lead threat modeling activities and validate threat coverage.
• Develop and maintain secure architecture patterns and standards in line with industry frameworks.
• Embed security across the SDLC and educate product teams on secure coding and CI/CD security.
