Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an experienced Application & Platform Security Architect to ensure security in high-risk applications within a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have significant experience in information security, with a strong ability to implement security solutions and work collaboratively across teams.

This full-time position offers a yearly salary range of approximately 141,500 to 268,500 USD, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience OR Master’s degree and 8 years of experience OR PhD and 4 years of experience in information security and/or related functions.
• Strong understanding of application security principles, including OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
• Experience with containerization and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define reusable security architecture patterns for business applications.
• Drive secure-by-design initiatives in software architecture.
• Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate application software designs.
