Job summary

UPMC Harrisburg is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to support the UPMC Child Advocacy Center. The ideal candidate has family practice or pediatric experience and will perform medical evaluations and treatment for children referred for suspected abuse.

The role involves coordination with law enforcement, child protection, and other providers across Harrisburg, Jonestown, Carlisle sites, with hours Mon-Fri 8 AM–4:30 PM and occasional after-hours

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric or family practice settings.
• Licensed PA or CRNP in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to coordinate with medical, law enforcement and child protection partners.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical evaluations and treatment for children referred for suspected abuse.
• Interacts with physicians, other health care providers, and families to plan care.
• Interviews children using non-leading, respectful methods and documents findings.
• Maintains documentation and coordinates care across multiple sites.
