Job summary

CNPC USA is seeking a QA/QC Manager to lead the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with API standards, regulatory and customer requirements. You will supervise direct reports, report to the Sr.

Director, and drive continual quality improvements across all operations. The role requires extensive experience in oil & gas manufacturing, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of inspection methods, qualification processes, and supplier quality management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in quality management with at least 5 years in a management role overseeing QMS, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in oil & gas manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QMS in accordance with API Q1 and applicable standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
• Lead supplier qualification, supplier audits, and corrective actions.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and coordinate API, customer, and certification audits.
• Drive root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Control Plans.
• Support R&D, product qualification, validation, and commercialization of new products.
• Develop and deliver quality training programs and mentor QA/QC personnel.
• Interface with customers and suppliers on quality requirements and audits.
