Job summary

EY seeks a Backend Support Engineer to design, build, and support enterprise API integrations using IBM API Connect and DataPower. You will create, publish, secure, and manage REST and SOAP APIs within APIC, while developing transformation services to meet complex integration needs.

You will design scalable architectures across cloud, hybrid-cloud, and on‑prem environments, implement strong API security, and support CI/CD pipelines. On-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Experience designing high-availability and resilient systems.
• Knowledge of event-driven and microservices architectures.
• Exposure to logistics, transport, or enterprise integration domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade API and integration solutions using IBM API Connect and DataPower.
• Publish, secure, and manage REST and SOAP APIs within APIC environments.
• Develop GatewayScript, XSLT, XPath, and transformation services for complex integrations.
• Design scalable integration architectures for cloud, hybrid-cloud, and on-prem apps.
• Implement API security, authentication, authorization, encryption, and governance policies.
