General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Microservices Developer to support EPA projects. The role is 100% remote with a focus on modern Java and Spring Boot-based microservices, APIs, and data integration across government systems.

You will collaborate with EPA staff and GDIT teams, design scalable services, ensure security and data integrity, and mentor junior engineers while delivering high-quality software solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of Java enterprise application development.
• Experience with Spring Boot, REST, and microservices.

Responsabilidades

• Modernize a legacy app using Spring Boot, Cloud, and modern Java (17+).
• Break down monoliths into microservices with REST and event-driven communication.
• Integrate with EPA systems, databases, and APIs while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Implement security best practices including authentication and authorization.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; perform code reviews and mentor juniors.
