Job summary

Boomi, the data activation company for AI, is seeking a Senior Presales Solutions Engineer to lead complex API Governance initiatives in North America. This strategic, customer-facing role focuses on API Management, security, and enterprise architecture to drive ecosystem growth.

You will partner with executives, architect API-led platforms, and guide PoCs and RFI/RFP responses, while embracing Boomi’s values. This position offers remote-friendly work and a competitive OTE of $175K–$219K.

Qualifications

• Extensive API lifecycle management experience in complex environments.
• Proven security and governance mastery for identity providers and edge risks.
• Architectural depth with microservices, service mesh, and event-driven architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design API strategies covering full lifecycle from OpenAPI to security policy.
• Advise executive stakeholders on ROI of API-first strategies.
• Lead security and governance across API gateways and platforms.
• Develop and evangelize robust developer portals for internal/external APIs.
• Coordinate cross-functional PoCs and respond to RFI/RFPs with authority.
