Job summary

Empower in Greenwood Village, CO, seeks a Senior Integration Architect (Data & APIs) to lead enterprise integration design, partnering with enterprise architects, application teams, and business leaders to enable real-time, reliable communication. You will drive standardized patterns and mentor teams to promote secure, loosely coupled systems.

Designs will include RESTful and gRPC APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven workflows, with strong emphasis on data contracts and governance.

Qualifications

• Designing and implementing scalable integration solutions across distributed systems.
• Experience with API-first and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to define and enforce data contracts and interfaces.
• Knowledge of legacy and modern system modernization in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design API-first and event-driven architectures for real-time communication.
• Architect patterns including REST, gRPC, asynchronous messaging, and event workflows.
• Define data contracts and interface standards across domains.
• Lead modernization of legacy integrations to reduce point-to-point dependencies.
