Job summary

7Th Sky Tech is seeking experienced API Engineers (SE3 & SE4) to design, build, and deploy scalable API services and integration solutions that power AI/ML-driven business applications. This is a hands-on backend role focused on cloud-native technologies and AI integration.

Hybrid work model with Charlotte, NC and San Francisco, CA locations; contract employment; strong emphasis on Python and/or Golang, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD in Google Cloud environments.

Qualifications

• SE3: 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• SE4: 7+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Strong backend development experience with Python and/or Golang
• Experience building production-grade API services and microservices
• Hands-on cloud-native development and DevOps knowledge

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable API-driven services.
• Build integration layers connecting enterprise apps with AI/ML and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Science teams to operationalize ML models.
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Golang.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Deploy and support containerized apps in cloud-native environments.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical guidance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
