Job summary

Transflo is seeking a Senior API Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate an integration platform that connects with customers, partners, and internal systems. The role focuses on cloud-native architecture, API development, security, automation, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will leverage AWS technologies, drive AI-enabled engineering practices, and mentor engineers while delivering scalable, enterprise-grade integrations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software or cloud engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in API design, cloud integrations, and AWS serverless technologies.
• Strong experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and API security best practices.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and operating production systems at scale.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or .NET/C#.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable REST APIs, Webhooks, and WebSocket integrations.
• Architect cloud-native, event-driven solutions using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, and CloudFront.
• Establish API standards, integration best practices, and resilient design patterns to support enterprise-scale connectivity.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps while promoting DevSecOps best practices.
• Enhance reliability through monitoring, observability, incident response, and performance optimization using CloudWatch and Datadog.
• Partner across engineering, product, and platform teams to deliver high-impact integration solutions.
• Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to architectural decision-making and technical strategy.
