Job summary

Avalore, LLC is seeking an API Architect to define, document, and govern API standards for the WDP System. You will ensure interoperability across components and with external systems, align with DoD policies, and develop comprehensive API specifications and developer documentation.

You will monitor usage and performance, implement versioning strategies for backward compatibility, and collaborate with security teams to enforce API security. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• Experience with API design and governance preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and maintain APIs and technical standards.
• Ensure DoD policy alignment and interoperability.
• Design API specifications and governance processes.
• Create developer docs and examples for adoption.
