Job summary

Habitat America, LLC seeks a Maintenance Supervisor in Upper Marlboro, Maryland to manage general apartment maintenance. Responsibilities include overseeing appliance repairs, drywall, painting, and basic plumbing/electrical work, and assisting with unit turnovers.

The role also requires participation in after-hours on-call rotation and reporting to the Community Manager. 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience is expected; HVAC/CFC certification is strongly desired.

Qualifications

• Energetic, self-motivated and able to work as a team.
• 3+ years’ experience in apartment maintenance; appliance troubleshooting, drywall and painting.
• HVAC/CFC certification strongly desired.
• Capable of overseeing contractor work.
• Pleasant, professional demeanor at all times.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Willing to work weekends and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance.
• Assist with unit turnovers and on-call rotation.
• Coordinate and supervise contractor work as needed.
