Job summary

Comcast seeks an Accounts Payable professional to manage and streamline AP processes. You will analyze and reconcile AP transactions to ensure accuracy, generate reports, and handle complex remittance data from checks, drafts, and wires.

You will guide junior staff, collaborate across departments to improve AP systems, and ensure compliance with internal controls. Attendance is expected, with potential night and weekend shifts to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years in accounts payable or related financial operations.
• Experience with ERP systems and internal controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile accounts payable transactions for accuracy.
• Generate routine and ad-hoc AP reports and participate in special projects.
• Process remittance information from payments (checks, drafts, wires).
• Research and resolve escalated inquiries about account status.
• Identify posting errors and correct discrepancies.
• Provide guidance to junior colleagues in AP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AP processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain consistent attendance; may require nights and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.
