Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to translate business needs into clear requirements for AnnuityNet changes. You will coordinate with product, technology, compliance, operations and vendors to support onboarding, launches, disclosures and regulatory work.

You’ll draft requirements, test plans, and release readiness materials, while monitoring risks and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of business analysis, platform support or financial services experience.
• Experience translating complex needs into clear requirements and delivery plans.
• Experience in regulated financial services or annuity platforms preferred.
• Strong testing coordination, UAT, regression and release validation.
• Excellent communication and facilitation across many stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define business requirements for AnnuityNet related changes with stakeholders.
• Support onboarding, product launches, disclosures and regulatory initiatives.
• Draft and maintain requirements, work requests, and release materials.
• Coordinate analysis with Zinnia, tech teams, and business partners.
• Plan tests, develop cases, run UAT, regression and defect retesting.
• Monitor release readiness, risks and open items; ensure timely launches.
• Provide platform SME support for AnnuityNet questions and signatures.
• Develop reporting and updates on workload, risks and progress.
• Resolve complex system issues and ensure accurate communication.
