Position

Senior Angular Developer – join an innovative startup disrupting the compliance industry. This role focuses on designing and developing the front-end of our core Angular application, delivering user-centric features, and accelerating the product roadmap. We offer a competitive base salary with significant stock options.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and is subject to a background check and unannounced drug testing. Position allows for remote work from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside other designers to optimize the UX of the application and collaboratively explore approaches to simplify complex compliance workflows
• Implement designs and interactivity within our core Angular SPA
• Support efforts to improve performance and memory utilization of Angular code
• Collaborate with QA to provide end-to-end testing of the application
• Work with security to harden the application and support upgrades of Angular and other NPM packages
• Troubleshoot Angular issues and follow best practices
• Integrate with the C# middle tier of RegScale using REST APIs and GraphQL
• Collaborate with DevOps to optimize builds and deployments
• Adapt to a fast-paced startup environment with varying schedules

Required Skills

• Extensive experience developing and optimizing large-scale Angular applications
• Performance optimization at scale, frontend architectures, and improving Lighthouse scores
• Security hardening and patching of NPM packages
• Writing automated tests and designing visually compelling features
• User-centric design and coordination with designers (Figma)
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Angular version upgrades and maintenance of NPM packages
• Modern HTML/CSS techniques and collaboration with designers
• Experience on large software projects with documentation, communication, and teamwork
• Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, Agile/Scrum, and distributed teams
• Knowledge of secure software development to minimize vulnerabilities
• Strong command of Git, NPM, and related tools

Education/Training, Qualifications, and Certification

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field and 7 years of experience, or
• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field and 5 years of experience
• Direct hands-on Angular experience for at least the last 3 years with the latest Angular features
• UX design experience including layout, flow, and user experience optimization for defined use cases
• Strong written and verbal communication with customer-focused service
• Experience with SaaS, startups, and scalable architectures preferred
• Must be a US Citizen and capable of passing a background check and random drug testing
• If remote, willing to travel to the R&D office in Knoxville, TN up to 6 times per year
