Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Angular Developer to lead complex Angular projects from conception to deployment. You will build high-quality applications, mentor peers, and ensure robust testing and code quality while focusing on performance and secure, scalable UI components.

The role requires deep Angular expertise, experience with state management, MFE patterns, and a collaborative mindset to work across cross-functional teams in a payments context.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Angular
• Advanced knowledge of Angular framework and component-driven development
• Experience with modular, scalable UI components and MFE principles
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with unit testing (Vitest/Jasmine/Karma)
• Strong debugging, performance optimization and security mindset
• Experience migrating Angular apps between major versions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Angular applications
• Implement and maintain unit tests for code quality
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
• Understand payments domain and integrate payment systems
• Optimize performance and scalability of front-end apps
