Job summary

NTT DATA Romania is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to develop responsive web interfaces using Angular and integrate with backend microservices. You will design reusable UI components, collaborate on API integration, and build dashboards to support forecasting and production planning.

The role requires strong Angular experience, RxJS/NgRx, testing with Jasmine/Karma or Cypress, and proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript. Remote/Hybrid/Office options available.

Qualifications

• University degree or advanced diploma in a software engineering‑related discipline.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience with a focus on Angular.
• Solid experience with Angular, RxJS, and NgRx or other state management libraries.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Experience with Jasmine/Karma and Cypress/Protractor for testing.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Webpack and npm/Yarn.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized frontend deployments.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and user‑friendly web interfaces using Angular, integrating seamlessly with backend microservices.
• Design and implement reusable UI components for compatibility, scalability, and fault tolerance across browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and enable real‑time data exchange and updates.
• Build interactive dashboards and visualizations to support forecasting models and production planning insights.
• Ensure intuitive user experiences for data input, visualization, and analysis for production planners.
• Work with QA to validate UI functionality, performance, and reliability through testing.
• Optimize frontend performance by identifying bottlenecks, refining code, and implementing caching and lazy loading.
• Document component usage and user guides for knowledge sharing and maintenance.
