Job summary
Associa is seeking a Senior Angular Software Engineer to join our development team and help modernize the Community Archives platform.
This remote role involves collaborating within an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in pair programming, code reviews, sprint planning, and delivering features using Angular, Nx monorepo tooling, and AWS deployments. Occasional office visits in the Dallas–Fort Worth area may be required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Angular.
- Experience with monorepo architectures; Nx preferred.
- Agile/Scrum development experience.
- Strong communication and teamwork; distributed teams.
- Experience with AWS and deploying Angular apps is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Participate in pair programming to develop and troubleshoot solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
- Engage in Backlog Refinement to plan and estimate upcoming work.
- Participate in Sprint Planning and Standups to align priorities.
- Demonstrate completed features during Sprint Reviews to stakeholders.
- Collaborate across teams/time zones to resolve technical challenges.
- Identify blockers and propose effective solutions.
- Contribute to modernization and future Angular upgrades.
