Job summary

Cook County Health & Hospitals System is seeking an Attending Physician XII in Radiology with a vascular/interventional focus to supervise and interpret diagnostic imaging across the hospital network.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in body and vascular interventional procedures, CT angiography, and teaching residents, with required board certification in radiology or current fellowship progression and timely report interpretation.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed physician in Illinois or eligible to obtain license prior to start.
• Board certified by the American Board of Radiology or Osteopathy Radiology (or in fellowship with Step 1 passed).
• Fellowship in Vascular/Interventional in good standing; eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise radiology residents and technologists when appropriate.
• Interpret radiologic studies and final reports in a timely manner.
• Provide radiologic consultative services across hospital departments.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and quality improvement efforts.
• Cover areas of department and hospital as assigned by the chairman.
