Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join a mobile/hardware-integrated retail technology platform in New York City onsite.

You will own QA for Android apps, perform manual testing across devices, and collaborate with software and embedded teams to ensure secure, reliable releases.

This 6-month contract offers hands-on testing, opportunities to contribute to automation, and close partnership with product managers and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years QA experience focused on mobile apps.
• Strong Android testing experience; 3+ years may be considered.
• Excellent communication; able to work independently onsite in NYC.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA efforts for Android-based retail platform.
• Perform manual testing of Android apps across devices.
• Validate functionality across Android, embedded firmware, and hardware components.
• Identify, document, and track defects with engineering teams to drive resolution.
• Support occasional UAT and customer validations as needed.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams including CV/AI initiatives.
• Contribute to testing process improvements and future automation.
