Focused on high-impact connected devices, they bridge the gap between digital and physical commerce by providing seamless mobile platforms for high-volume retail environments. The company is currently scaling its New York-based team to ensure their proprietary systems remain reliable and efficient for the modern consumer.
As a QA Tester/Engineer (Mobile Ecomm), you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of mobile checkout and ecommerce workflows from their New York office. This is a hands-on, onsite position focused on the physical testing of Android-based hardware devices. You will focus on the end-to-end transaction journey, ensuring that the software and user interface perform flawlessly on the company's proprietary hardware. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose bugs, execute manual and automated test cases, and ensure the digital checkout process is frictionless before it is deployed to live store environments.
This is a full-time, onsite position in New York City (5 days per week) offering an hourly rate between $30.00 - $35.00/hour, depending on experience. This role is ideal for a tester who prefers working directly with physical devices and seeing the immediate impact of their work on retail technology. While the focus is on ecommerce software, any experience with custom Android OS hardware or embedded systems is highly valued.
