Job summary

Twitch is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager for the Android Platform to shape the strategic vision and execution of our mobile experiences.

You will lead a talented team delivering core tools and services that empower developers to innovate on Android. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Product and iOS teams, improve quality and performance, and champion a culture of relentless improvement across the Android platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional mobile software development experience.
• 3+ years as an engineering manager or team lead.
• Experience shipping Android apps at scale.
• Experience hiring and developing remote engineers.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, designers and other engineering leaders.

Responsibilities

• Craft an inspiring strategic vision for the Android Platform team and forge partnerships with product management and the iOS Platform team.
• Architect a bold roadmap and deliver transformative software that brings the vision to life.
• Increase feature launch velocity by delivering a first-class developer experience.
• Drive improvements to processes, metrics, testing, and operational excellence.
• Define insightful KPIs to track progress and delight customers.
• Communicate ideas effectively across the organization and foster collaboration.
