Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager of Mobile Engineering for Android to lead delivery of Android platform initiatives in Enterprise Platforms Technology. You will mentor a team of mobile developers, collaborate with UX/UI, QA, product analytics, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality customer experiences across Android devices.

The role requires 6+ years in software engineering with 4+ years of people leadership and 4+ years building Android apps using Kotlin.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with strong software engineering background.
Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering experience; internship not counted.
Minimum 4 years of people management experience.
Minimum 4 years of experience building Android applications.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Kotlin.

Responsibilities

Develop Android client code solutions aligned with Product Strategy and engineering best practices.
Collaborate with Engineers, UX/UI, QA, and Product Owners to deliver high-quality experiences.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of team commitments.
Mentor junior to mid-level developers and collaborate across disciplines.
