Eight Sleep seeks an experienced Senior Android Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. The role focuses on shipping high-quality Android features with pixel-perfect animations in a hyper-growth startup.

You will collaborate closely with backend, firmware, ML, and cross-functional teams to push performance, stability, and product quality while advancing health tech and wellness.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of shipping high-quality features for native Android apps.
• Fluent proficiency in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Coroutines/Flow/MVVM/MVI.
• Experience building scalable, testable enterprise grade apps.
• Ability to work efficiently in a rapid paced environment while maintaining a focus on stability.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Android app development with a focus on quality and performance.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with backend, firmware, ML, R&D, Growth, Hardware and executives.
• Deliver pixel-perfect mobile features with smooth animations.
