Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE with 7 years of progressive experience in software engineering.
• Proficient in Android app development using Kotlin and the Android SDK for large-scale production apps.
• Experience with MVVM and Clean Architecture for scalable mobile systems.
• Asynchronous programming using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
• RESTful APIs for distributed backend integration.
• OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect for secure authentication.
• Jetpack Compose and XML layouts per Material Design.
• SQLite/Room for offline data persistence.
• Git, CI/CD, and production release workflows in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications.
• Design, develop, and/or test software applications using the company technology stack.
• Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex data and projects to resolve issues.
• Support business operations and improve engineering productivity.
• Build components that integrate into a full software system.
• Troubleshoot production issues to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Work withBackend and cross-platform engineers to deliver identity platform features.
• Build native Android interfaces with modern frameworks and backend integrations.
• Partner with Data Science, Design, and Product teams to monitor and improve performance.
• Coordinate with Uber product teams to address complex challenges.
