Job summary

Egen is hiring an experienced Android Engineer to design and build Kotlin-based apps, leveraging modern tooling and cloud services. You will contribute to RESTful services, microservices architectures, and robust test strategies in a collaborative Agile environment.

Work remotely from the United States with standard continental US business hours, participating in release planning, debugging, and scalable system design to deliver data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development with Kotlin and tooling.
• Strong unit and integration testing of Kotlin apps.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with SpringBoot and Java ecosystem libraries.
• Strong OOP skills and cloud technology experience.
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases and data access layers.
• Experience with Android app release and tooling pipelines.
• Excellent debugging and system design abilities.
• Proven collaboration in Agile/Scrum teams.
