Arthrex seeks a Senior Software Engineer- Android (REMOTE) to design and maintain high-quality Android applications. You will work in a cross-functional team, contributing from client-side to back-end services and ensuring robust, offline-capable experiences.

The role can be based in Waltham, MA or Naples, FL with remote options, requiring 5 years of professional Android experience, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose proficiency, and a collaborative mindset in a fast-paced medical software environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional Android experience.
• Experience developing Android apps in a professional environment.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with offline-first applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in software development and team ceremonies as a cross-functional team member.
• Develop features using established patterns and technology.
• Contribute across the stack from client-side to back-end services.
• Monitor apps for issues and improve availability and speed.
• Investigate and fix bugs.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Continuously learn new frameworks, languages, and tools.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders with open communication.
• Occasional travel for training, meetings or trade shows may be required.
