Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android app development experience.
• Proficient in Android Studio and Android SDK.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin.
• Understanding of native mobile app development lifecycle.
• Experience with Android UI design principles and patterns.
• Experience consuming REST APIs in Android apps.
• Strong focus on data security (at rest and in transit).
• Experience writing unit/UI tests for quality assurance.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components.
• Familiar with Jira and Confluence workflow.
• Proficient with Git version control.
• Ability to integrate third-party libraries.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and define scope/features of the Android app.
• Design application architecture including UI, database, and backend integration.
• Debug, fix issues, and ensure robust app functionality during testing.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers for timely delivery.
