Job summary

Mainz Brady Group is seeking a hands-on Senior Android Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality mobile applications within the Android ecosystem. This role collaborates with Product Managers, Designers, Mobile, Web and Backend Engineers, QA, and other cross-functional partners to build scalable, reliable, and engaging mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin development skills.
• Experience with Android Studio and Jetpack Compose.
• Solid understanding of OO programming, design patterns, and Android architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Kotlin.
• Own feature development from requirements through production release.
• Write efficient, reliable, scalable, and maintainable application code.
• Build reusable components and solutions shared across apps.
• Analyze and optimize application performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Participate in coding, PR reviews, unit testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, Automation, Backend, and other teams.
• Review product requirements and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Apply Android architecture and OO design principles to solve problems.
• Promote best practices and mentor less-experienced engineers.
