Job summary

SME Careers, an AI data services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, is building a pool of Android Engineers for hourly, fully remote AI training work at $110/hr. You will review AI-generated Android code, architectures, and explanations, and write high-quality reference implementations and step-by-step reasoning.

You assess correctness, clarity, security, performance and reliability; spot issues in Jetpack Compose/UI, concurrency, threading, memory, lifecycle, networking and persistence;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years building production Android apps in Kotlin (and ideally Java).
• Expert Kotlin including coroutines/flows and idiomatic patterns.
• Strong Android fundamentals: lifecycle, Activities/Fragments, permissions.
• Modern UI with Jetpack Compose and/or Views.
• Networking and data layers with Retrofit/OkHttp and Room/DataStore.
• Testing (JUnit, Espresso) and CI/CD.
• Security awareness and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated Android code, mobile architectures and explanations.
• Write high-quality reference implementations and step-by-step reasoning.
• Assess correctness, clarity, security, performance and reliability; spot issues in Jetpack Compose/UI, concurrency, threading, memory, lifecycle, networking and persistence.
• Write model solutions; and rate and compare AI responses.
