Job summary

Eight Sleep in the United States is seeking an experienced Android Mobile Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate has shipped pixel-perfect native Android apps with captivating animations and a passion for health tech.

You will work closely with backend, firmware, ML teams, and executives to deliver high-quality features, conduct code reviews, and optimize app performance for a premier sleep fitness experience for members.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of shipping high-quality features for native Android apps.
• Fluent proficiency in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Coroutines/Flow/MVVM/MVI.
• Experience building scalable, testable enterprise-grade apps.
• Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining a focus on stability.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Optimize app performance and reliability for a premium user experience.
• Collaborate with backend, firmware, ML, R&D, growth, hardware teams and executives to ship features.
