Job summary

Grid is seeking a seasoned Android Engineer to design, build, and scale our mobile product. You’ll work with product, engineering, and business leaders to deliver reliable experiences and impact grid users’ financial lives.

You’ll own features from UI to data synchronization, ensuring quality, accessibility, and performance. The role requires strong Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Firebase, and cloud familiarity, plus a mindset of autonomy and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Design, implement, and maintain the Grid Android app.
• Assist and build platform.
• Pragmatically solve problems.
• Contribute to product design and direction.
• Effectively communicate and work with other teams.
• Minimum of 5 years of app development.
• Autonomy and Initiative: work independently and own projects.
• Curiosity and Optimism in problem solving.
• Self Starter: prioritize work and deliver results.
• Domain Knowledge: fintech experience preferred.
• Experience building & deploying mobile apps: not an entry level role; 3+ years preferred.
