Job summary

Hypori, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineer – Mobile Application to build enterprise Android apps across the full agile development process, including design, coding, troubleshooting, and testing of bug fixes and new features, delivering code through an evolving CI/CD pipeline to on-prem and public cloud deployments.

You will work on the Hypori Client app used to securely access enterprise apps and data from user devices, with over 95,000 Department of War users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing mobile applications on Android.
• 3+ years of experience leading the development of mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, including coroutines and Flow.
• Working knowledge of Android Jetpack fundamentals (ViewModel, Lifecycle, DataStore).
• Experience with a dependency injection framework (Koin, Dagger, or Hilt).
• Familiarity with Gradle (Kotlin DSL) and multi-module Android projects.
• Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and a mocking library such as MockK.
• Experience testing cloud-based applications on AWS or Azure.
• Strong working knowledge of Git version control.
• Linux/Unix-based operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement production-quality features for the Hypori Client app.
• Reconcile product requirements with a deep understanding of Android internals.
• Enhance the app to leverage capabilities across the Android ecosystem.
• Create unit tests and run test suites with our test automation framework.
• Follow secure software development policies for design, implementation, and deployment.
