Nextdoor is seeking an Android Software Engineer to join a fast-moving team of developers, PMs and designers. The role focuses on building an incredible Android app while using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and GraphQL.

The hybrid model spans offices in San Francisco and other major cities; equity and comprehensive benefits are offered. You will own networking, analytics, experiments, modular app structure, and testing infrastructure, delivering polished features at scale and mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
• Experience shipping features end-to-end.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Strong initiative and ownership of app components.
• Tests with JUnit, MockK, Roborazzi.

Responsibilities

• Own Android networking, analytics, experiments, and testing infrastructure.
• Contribute to modular app structure and product features.
• Lead contributions across the Android stack.
