Job summary

Visa Hunt seeks a seasoned Android Software Engineer to join our mobile team and evolve our Android application. You will design, develop, test, and ship features, write clean code, contribute to architecture, and partner with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high‑quality mobile experiences. You will mentor junior developers and promote engineering excellence.

You will stay current with platform updates and best practices to deliver scalable, reliable experiences for users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong professional experience building and shipping Android applications/features.
• Proficiency in Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of Android SDKs and APIs across OS versions.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, HTTP, and asynchronous data handling.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with performance optimization.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and collaboration with design teams.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy new features for an existing Android application.
