Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Software Engineer III in Columbus to advance secure, scalable mobile technologies for Self Directed Investing within Consumer & Community Banking. You will contribute across SDLC, build high-quality native apps, and leverage enterprise AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery.

You will collaborate in an agile team, explore new architectures, and lead technology communities to improve practices across the engineering function.

Qualifications

• 3+ years software/mobile development experience.
• 1+ year AI engineering experience building native mobile apps.
• Strong Android development with Kotlin.
• Familiarity with MVVM, MVP, MVC patterns.
• Experience with modern native mobile tools (Git, Xcode, CocoaPods, SwiftPM, CoreData, Android Studio, Robolectric, Mockito, Espresso, RxJava, Dagger, Retrofit).
• Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools with validation for quality, security.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions with novel approaches to complex problems.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review peers' code.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation and improve stability.
• Leverage AI coding assist tools to enhance quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and tests.
• Utilize SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to boost automation value.
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors/internal teams on architecture and tech fit.
• Lead communities of practice to drive adoption of new technologies.
