Job summary

Recruiting from Scratch LLC is seeking a lead Android engineer to drive the native app from architecture to production ownership. You will build secure, high-performance fintech experiences and collaborate with iOS, web, and backend teams to shape the product’s technical direction.

The role requires 5+ years of mobile engineering, deep Kotlin/Java experience, and the ability to independently own major product areas within a small autonomous team onsite.

Qualifications

Lead development of the native Android application, including its architecture, engineering standards, implementation, and production ownership. Build secure, reliable, high-performance financial experiences while collaborating with senior engineers and teams across iOS, web, and backend, and helping shape the product’s technical direction.

Requirements:

Requires 5+ years of software engineering experience, significant experience shipping native consumer Android applications, and strong production experience with Kotlin and/or Java. Candidates should be able to independently architect and own major product areas, with strong mobile engineering fundamentals, product judgment, and comfort working onsite in a small, autonomous team.
