Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, validate, and debug Android, Android Automotive, embedded, edge, and utility software applications for automotive experience platforms.
• Develop and integrate software features that support concept vehicle demonstrations, prototype features, customer showcases, and global trade show experiences.
• Perform system integration testing and SIT-level debugging by analyzing logs, traces, crashes, timing issues, interface failures, and end-to-end system behavior across multiple software and hardware layers.
• Drive root-cause analysis and issue closure for complex integration problems involving Android framework, applications, middleware, vehicle interfaces, operating systems, and embedded components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, define technical approaches, estimate work, manage dependencies, and deliver high-quality software within project schedules.
• Support software bring-up, integration, validation, and demo readiness activities on target hardware, concept vehicles, and automotive development platforms.
• Contribute to software architecture and design discussions, while ensuring practical implementation choices that support rapid prototyping and reliable demonstrations.
• Mentor junior engineers, share debugging practices, review code, and promote engineering quality across development and integration activities.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for software design, integration procedures, debugging findings, known issues, and validation results.
