Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience shipping production Android apps.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android practices.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and XML views.
• Experience designing scalable Android architectures and end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Bumble Android features on GCP.
• Own features from inception to delivery across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with Product, Designers, and Engineers to ship improvements.
• Evaluate AI-based development tools to boost productivity and code quality.
• Lead architecture discussions and promote best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers through pairing and code reviews.
