Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to design, develop, and maintain an Anaplan planning and forecasting solution supporting financial forecasting, scenario modeling, and performance management. Role can be based in Schaumburg, IL or Chicago, IL with hybrid/remote flexibility.

You will translate business requirements into models, build dashboards, and ensure data integration with finance systems. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 6+ years of experience OR a high school diploma with 8+ years in finance/accounting
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 6+ years in finance/accounting
• Experience in planning and forecasting systems, including BPC/EPM or similar tools

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Anaplan solution architecture for scalable planning and forecasting
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical model designs
• Build Anaplan models, modules, dashboards, and calculations aligned with business needs
• Support integration with upstream/downstream systems (data hubs, finance systems)
• Communicate insights, trends and patterns to stakeholders
• Support model deployments, testing (UAT), and documentation
• Partner with finance and stakeholders to support planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling
• Explain model design, assumptions, outputs and insights to non-technical stakeholders
