Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Anaplan Solution Architect specializing in FP&A and Merchandise Financial Planning. The role bridges business requirements with Anaplan solutions, leading architecture, design, and implementation with governance and security in mind.

The ideal candidate will work with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable models, manage security, and drive continuous improvement across enterprise planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT, planning systems, or consulting experience.
• 3+ years hands-on Anaplan implementation and solution architecture experience.
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes.
• Experience with Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP).
• Expertise in Anaplan model building, workspace administration, and governance.
• Strong knowledge of Anaplan security (Selective Access & DCA).
• Proven analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate financial planning requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand planning processes and convert needs into deliverables.
• Design, develop, and maintain Anaplan models and workspaces following best practices.
• Manage Anaplan security, including Selective Access and DCA.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Interpret user stories from Agile sprints and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Drive solution optimization, release management, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
