Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Analytics and Visualization Engineer in the Herndon, VA area to design and develop decision-support dashboards for the BNATCS CTO DCC team. You will transform complex data into actionable insights and work with AI-enabled workflows to prototype and deliver capabilities.

The role combines dashboard development, analytics, and storytelling to brief executives and stakeholders, shaping concepts beyond predefined requirements and driving product-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years with BS/BA or 6+ years with MS or 3+ years with PhD in a technical field
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript or R
• Experience with dashboard or visualization platforms
• Experience with relational data, JSON, APIs, and cloud datasets
• Ability to translate needs into analytical requirements and metrics
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain FAA Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder needs into dashboard concepts, KPIs, and workflows
• Define analytical methods and scoring logic for DCC products
• Assess data quality, lineage, and usability
• Analyze structured and semi-structured data for insights
• Lead dashboard demonstrations and briefings for senior audiences
• Gather feedback and translate into product roadmap and backlog
• Contribute to dashboard standards and reusable components
