Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced analytics professional in Illinois to create business insights and lead cross-functional teams. The role focuses on data-driven strategy, reporting, and stakeholder consultation across divisions.

You will design datasets and dashboards, analyze strategic initiatives, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations for decision-makers. A strong foundation in SQL/SAS and project management is essential, with preferred accounting and regulatory

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' data analysis and reporting experience or 7+ years in the field.
4 years' project management experience.
Experience using SQL, SAS, Teradata or similar reporting tools/languages.
Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Initiative to solve complex problems and identify innovative solutions.
Experience with internal and external data sources.
Ability to verify report accuracy and derive insights.
Ability to work independently with guidance only in complex cases.
Preferred: accounting background and 5 years' accounting experience.
Preferred: Oracle financial data analysis.
Preferred: Experience with Workiva, Sungard & FIS.
Preferred: Experience in regulatory settings and financial reporting.
