Calculated Hire is seeking a Senior Analytics Developer for a Fortune 100 Financial Services client. You will migrate SAS-based analytics, reporting, ETL, and automation to Python in an enterprise Anaconda environment.

The ideal candidate is an advanced Python developer with strong SAS experience, able to analyze existing SAS processes and recreate functionality in well-structured Python code for large datasets.

Qualifications

5+ years in reporting, analytics, BI, data management, or data engineering.
Advanced Python development for analytics, ETL, and automation with large datasets.
Modular, production-ready Python code with pandas and SQL.
Strong SAS experience to understand and reconstruct legacy processes.
Experience converting SAS programs to Python in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Migrate SAS-based reporting, analytics, ETL, and automation to Python in an enterprise Anaconda env.
Validate migrated outputs for consistency, accuracy and business acceptance.
Collaborate with project leads and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate status.
Develop Python-based replacements and modular components rather than line-by-line translation.
Optimize Python code and SQL queries while preserving approved business logic.
