Scribd, Inc. is seeking a senior analytics engineering leader to own canonical data models for payments, billing, and subscriptions across Scribd, Everand, and Fable. You will define trusted metrics, defend them under scrutiny, and ensure data quality and lineage as definitions evolve.

You will own the KPI and semantic layer for payments and identity, exposing it through self-serve dashboards and AI tools. You will extend this discipline to Trust & Safety, drive observability, and mentor a team

Qualifications

• Eight plus years in analytics engineering or related field.
• Hands-on payments data experience with processor data (Stripe/Adyen/Braintree/PayPal).
• Experience with identity and authentication data.
• Proven ability to define metrics, defend them, and version inputs over time.
• Advanced SQL and production experience in Databricks, AWS, Looker, Airbyte, Fivetran.
• Experience preparing data for AI consumption and serving metrics.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and translate payments economics into business trade-offs.

Responsabilités

• Own canonical data models for payments, billing, and subscriptions across Scribd, Everand, and Fable.
• Own KPI and semantic layer for payments and identity exposed through self-serve dashboards and AI tools.
• Extend discipline to Trust & Safety, modeling prevalence and exposure, and evaluating moderation labels.
• Drive quality, observability, and data lineage to catch changes and avoid migration artifacts.
• Build AI tools on trusted foundations and keep definitions in sync with data changes.
• Raise technical standards, define metric conventions, and mentor analysts and engineers.
